How to Get Your eSIM

  1. Pick Your USA Data Plan
Choose from 1GB to unlimited options based on your Orlando trip length. A 3-5 day science center and theme park visit typically runs through 3-5GB with maps, tickets, and photo uploads.
  2. Install at Home Before Your Flight
Scan the QR code over your home WiFi the night before departure. The profile sits dormant until you activate it — no data charges while you're still stateside or in the air.
  3. Activate After Landing at Orlando International
Once your aircraft reaches the gate and you switch off airplane mode, enable the eSIM in your phone settings. Your phone connects to AT&T or Verizon within seconds.
  4. Load Your Orlando Science Center Tickets
Pull up your timed-entry confirmation, check the day's planetarium schedule, and verify the route from your hotel before you step into the Uber.
  5. Keep Using Data Across Florida and Beyond
The same plan works at Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, the convention center, and every other stop — no switching, no top-ups, no roaming fees.

Traveler Tips

  • The Crosby Observatory opens for public viewing on select evenings — check the schedule on your phone and arrive 20 minutes early for the best dome seats.
  • The Dr. Phillips CineDome shows rotate every 45-60 minutes; pull up the daily lineup before deciding which floor to explore first.
  • Rideshare pickup is on Princeton Street near the main entrance — confirm your driver's arrival in the Uber or Lyft app rather than waiting at the wrong curb.
  • Keep your home SIM active for incoming calls; place outgoing calls over WhatsApp or FaceTime using your eSIMno data to avoid roaming charges.
  • Download the Orlando Science Center exhibit map PDF over WiFi the night before — you'll load it faster than the museum's indoor network.

Why Data Matters at Orlando Science Center

The Orlando Science Center spans four floors of hands-on exhibits, a planetarium, an observatory, and outdoor nature areas — and your phone handles most of the navigation. Timed-entry tickets arrive as QR codes you'll scan at the turnstile. The CineDome and observatory showtimes update throughout the day, and checking them on your phone beats walking to the info desk on Level 1.

Inside the building, you'll coordinate with your group via iMessage or WhatsApp when someone wants to stay at KidsTown while you head up to the Our Planet exhibit. The concrete-heavy construction and steel framing can weaken WiFi signals, especially on upper floors near the observatory — your eSIMno plans for Orlando Science Center connect through AT&T or Verizon macro towers outside the building, bypassing the museum network entirely.

After the visit, you'll check Uber surge pricing versus LYNX Route 11 for the ride back to International Drive or your hotel near the convention center. The same data plan covers your evening at International Drive or your next-day trip to Magic Kingdom Park — one install, no SIM swaps, and no hunting for theme park WiFi passwords across your Orlando itinerary.

Visiting Orlando Science Center

The science center opens daily, with hours running from around 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays and extended hours on weekends. Timed-entry tickets purchased online load as mobile QR codes — have yours ready before joining the entrance queue. General admission runs $20-25 for adults, with reduced rates for children and seniors. The CineDome planetarium and special exhibitions may require separate timed tickets.

From Orlando International Airport, the drive takes 25-30 minutes via FL-408 West. LYNX bus Route 11 connects downtown Orlando to the museum area in about 40 minutes for $2.00. Rideshare from the airport costs $25-35 depending on traffic and surge. The museum sits at 777 East Princeton Street, with a parking garage on-site charging $5 for the day. Photography is permitted throughout most exhibit halls; flash and tripods are restricted in the planetarium.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Activate after your flight lands at Orlando International. By the time you're walking through the terminal toward baggage claim, your phone is already pulling up the science center's exhibit schedule and your timed-entry QR code.
Rideshare takes 25-30 minutes and costs $25-35 via Uber or Lyft. LYNX bus Route 11 runs from downtown Orlando to the museum area in about 40 minutes for $2.00 — check the real-time bus tracker on your phone before deciding which option fits your schedule.
Yes. The eSIMno plan connects through AT&T and Verizon towers outside the building, so you get consistent coverage across all four floors including the observatory level where indoor WiFi can struggle.
Your home SIM stays active for incoming calls and texts — no setup needed. For outgoing calls, use WhatsApp, FaceTime, or Google Meet over your eSIMno data to avoid triggering roaming charges on your home carrier.
The same plan covers every Orlando theme park, International Drive attractions, the convention center, and anywhere else you travel across Florida and all 50 states. One installation handles your entire trip.
A science center day with ticket QR codes, exhibit maps, photo uploads, and rideshare coordination runs through 500MB-1GB. Add buffer if you're streaming the planetarium schedule video previews or uploading high-resolution photos from the observatory.

Seamless global eSIM coverage

Get Started
The Orlando Science Center sits on the shores of Lake Ivanhoe, about 15 minutes north of International Drive by rideshare. Your arrival flow from Orlando International runs through LYNX bus Route 11 or a $25-35 Uber to the museum's Princeton Street entrance. Having data active when you step off the plane means your ticket QR loads before you reach the turnstile, and the route comparison between rideshare surge pricing and the slower bus option happens in real time. Inside the four-story complex, you'll pull up exhibit schedules across eight themed halls, check showtimes for the Crosby Observatory and Dr. Phillips CineDome planetarium, and message your group when splitting up between the KidsTown level and the NatureWorks outdoor exhibits. The building's concrete-and-steel construction can weaken WiFi signals on upper floors — your eSIM on AT&T or Verizon bypasses the museum network entirely. The same plan keeps working when you leave for the next morning, covers your SeaWorld day, and stays active through a final stop at The Florida Mall before your flight home. One purchase, one QR install, nationwide coverage across every theme park, museum, and airport transfer on your Orlando itinerary.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Find helpful information to answer your questions

What should I do if I see a 'No network' message after activating my eSIM?
If you see a 'No network' message after activation, try these steps in order: (1) Toggle airplane mode on for 10 seconds, then off. (2) Confirm data roaming is enabled for the eSIM line. (3) Manually select a network in cellular settings. (4) Restart your phone. If the issue continues, contact eSIMno support via WhatsApp or email.
Is unlimited data really unlimited?
Unlimited plans provide unlimited data at high speed (4G/5G) up to a fair-use threshold defined per plan. Beyond that threshold, speeds may be reduced to 128 Kbps for the remainder of the validity period - still usable for messaging and basic browsing, but slower for streaming and video calls.
What happens when my data plan runs out?
When you use up your data allowance, your connection stops until you top up or purchase a new plan. You can top up directly from the eSIMno Center while connected to Wi-Fi, or buy a new plan if your validity period has expired.
Can I get a refund after purchase?
Refunds are not available once an eSIM has been installed or activated - install codes are one-time-use, so an installed eSIM is considered used even if no data has been consumed. If you have not installed your eSIM yet and want a refund, contact support within the refund window stated at checkout. We recommend reviewing plan details carefully before purchase to avoid any issues.
Will I get notifications when my data is running low?
Yes. eSIMno sends email and push notifications when you've used 50%, 80%, and 100% of your data allowance. You can also check usage anytime in the eSIMno Center or in your phone's cellular settings to track consumption in real time.
Will my home phone number receive calls while I use the eSIM?
Yes - if your home SIM stays installed and active, calls and SMS to your home number arrive normally. The eSIM only handles data; voice service stays on your home line. Just remember that incoming calls and texts to your home number while abroad may trigger roaming charges from your home carrier.
Can I install my eSIM before traveling?
Yes - setting it up before your trip is the easiest approach. Your confirmation email contains the QR code, a one-tap install link and the manual SM-DP+ / activation codes (the same options are also available via sign in > Profile > My eSIMs > Install). While on Wi-Fi at home, install it with the one-tap link on your phone, or - to use the QR - show it on another screen or a printout and scan it with the phone you are setting up (not another phone). Installing does not start your plan: the validity countdown only begins when the eSIM connects to a mobile network inside your plan's coverage area. Keep the eSIM line and its Data Roaming off until you are ready to start - if your plan covers the country you are in right now, turning the line on connects and starts the countdown immediately, even if you do not browse anything. Please note: once installed, an eSIM is considered used and is no longer eligible for a refund.
What makes eSIMno different from other eSIM services?
eSIMno partners directly with local operators in over 200 countries, eliminating intermediaries. This direct relationship lets us offer competitive pricing, extensive coverage, and faster activation than resellers who route data through third parties.
What data plans are available for the United-states eSIM?
eSIMno provides various data plans ranging from 1 GB to unlimited data, with options from 7 days to 90 days of service. Plans also include regional and lifetime options for travelers who want flexibility across multiple destinations.
Do I need to remove my eSIM after my trip?
You don't have to remove it. Once your data plan expires, the eSIM simply stops providing data. You can leave the dormant profile on your phone and reuse it next time by purchasing a new plan, or delete it from cellular settings to free up an eSIM slot.
What smartphones support eSIM?
Most modern devices support eSIM, including iPhone XS and later, Samsung Galaxy S20 through S25 series, Google Pixel 4 and later, Huawei P40 and later, and many recent iPads. Check our full compatibility list before purchasing to confirm your device is supported.
Can I share data from my eSIM with someone else's phone?
Yes, through Personal Hotspot. Activate hotspot on your phone, share the password, and the other device connects to your data. Data used by connected devices counts toward your eSIM plan, so monitor usage to avoid running out faster than expected.
