1 GB of high-speed data every day. Once it is used the speed drops to 128 Kbps, but your connection is never cut off. Data only — no phone number. These lines cannot be refilled — when the validity ends the line is closed.
Each day you receive 1 GB of high-speed data on the China Telecom Macao network. Use it for tethering your laptop, uploading files, video calls—whatever your work demands. Once that 1 GB is gone, your connection slows to 128 Kbps for the rest of the day. Importantly, it never disconnects entirely.
At 128 Kbps, you can still load Google Maps, send WhatsApp messages, and receive emails with small attachments. Video streaming and voice-over-IP calls will not function properly at this speed. This is a deliberate trade-off: you get the security of an always-on connection without the risk of surprise charges or sudden blackouts.
The daily allowance resets at midnight UTC+8. That is a fixed moment in UTC, not midnight where you are, so check your phone's UTC offset if you plan around it. When the reset happens, your high-speed quota returns to a fresh 1 GB.
This is a data-only eSIM. There is no phone number, no voice calls, and no SMS capability. Use internet-based apps for communication.

You tether a laptop and need the assurance that your connection will not vanish mid-task. You have work calls, document syncing, or email that cannot wait for café Wi-Fi. You prefer predictable daily usage over monitoring a shrinking data balance. You want a safety net—knowing that even after 1 GB, basic connectivity remains.
Your usage is lighter: occasional maps, messaging, and social media. You do not need tethering or heavy uploads. Your trip exceeds 7 days—the longest Unlimited plan—and you want a single eSIM to cover it. You prefer to buy only the gigabytes you will actually use rather than a daily allowance that might go partially unused.
There is no wrong choice, only different priorities. If you need the longest coverage, visit our general Macao eSIM page for data plans that extend beyond one week.
