Lithuania Voice eSIM – Calls, SMS & Data on a Real Mobile Number

Your mother-in-law keeps a landline in Kaunas and refuses to download apps—she wants to dial a number and hear your voice. Meanwhile, your bank texts security codes that never arrive on WhatsApp. The eSIMno Lithuania Voice plan gives you mobile data plus a real phone number: unlimited outgoing calls and SMS across geographic Europe, and free incoming calls and SMS from anywhere in the world.

How the Voice Plan Works

This eSIM provides mobile data alongside a real mobile number—not an app-based workaround. Outgoing calls and SMS are unlimited while you are physically located in geographic Europe. Step outside that boundary and outgoing service stops, but incoming calls and SMS remain free of charge anywhere in the world. Your bank's verification code arrives whether you are in Vilnius, Tokyo or São Paulo.

The number assigned to your line is a French (+33) number. Anyone wanting to reach you dials that number, not a Lithuanian one. For callers within Europe, this is typically a standard international call; for the traveller, receiving it costs nothing.

Data works across Lithuania on the Bite, Tele2 and Telia networks. The plan you choose determines your data allowance for the 30-day validity window.

Staying Connected Across Lithuania

Receive calls anywhere—your number works even when you leave Europe.

Is This Plan Right for You?

The Voice plan earns its place when someone back home needs to dial you directly. Parents who do not use smartphones, employers who expect a callback number, property managers who text access codes, and banks that send SMS verification—all of these require a real mobile number. If you are coordinating logistics with people who will not install an app, this plan removes that barrier entirely.

It is not the best choice for everyone. If your communication happens entirely through WhatsApp, Zoom or iMessage, and you never need to receive an SMS code, a data-only plan covers you at lower cost. Travellers who want longer validity or different data tiers may prefer to explore the Lithuania for options without voice features. If you need heavy data with no calling at all, the Lithuania Unlimited plan focuses purely on connectivity. Choose the plan that matches how you actually communicate.

Traveller Tips

  • Save your French (+33) number in your own contacts and share it with family before departure—this is the number they dial to reach you.
  • Enable Wi-Fi calling if your phone supports it; calls will route over Wi-Fi when cellular signal is weak indoors.
  • Keep SMS notifications on for your new line so bank verification codes arrive promptly, even if your phone is locked.
  • Store your eSIM QR code in cloud storage or a second device—if you need to reinstall, you will have access to the original code.
  • Disable automatic app updates on cellular data to preserve your data allowance for browsing and maps.
  • Test an outgoing call shortly after activation to confirm the line is working before you need it urgently.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The Voice eSIM assigns a French (+33) mobile number regardless of destination. This allows the same number to provide unlimited outgoing calls and SMS across all of geographic Europe while you travel, rather than being tied to a single country's dialling code.
Yes. Incoming calls and SMS are free of charge anywhere in the world. If you travel beyond Europe during your trip, people can still reach you on your French number and SMS verification codes will still arrive.
Outgoing calls and SMS are unlimited only while you are physically within geographic Europe. If you travel outside this region, outgoing service will not work, though incoming calls and SMS remain free.
No. The Voice eSIM cannot be refilled or topped up. When your data, minutes or SMS allowance is exhausted, or when the 30-day validity ends, the line closes permanently. Purchase a data tier that covers your full trip from the start.
Yes. The French number receives SMS like any standard mobile number. Banks, airlines and apps that send verification codes via SMS will deliver them to your Voice eSIM line, even if you are outside Europe at that moment.
The Voice eSIM connects through Bite, Tele2 and Telia networks in Lithuania. Your device will select whichever network offers the strongest signal in your location.

Seamless global eSIM coverage

Get Started
The Lithuania Voice eSIM combines mobile data with a working phone number, giving travellers something a data-only plan cannot: a line that rings. Outgoing calls and SMS are unlimited while you remain physically within geographic Europe—not limited to EU member states, but the entire European continent. Incoming calls and SMS are free of charge and work anywhere in the world, so when your flight lands in Asia or you cross into a non-European country, people can still reach you and verification codes still arrive. This plan fits travellers whose contacts do not use internet calling apps. If grandparents, landlords, medical offices or employers expect to dial a number and hear you pick up, the Voice plan delivers. It also suits anyone who relies on SMS-based two-factor authentication from banks, airlines or government portals. A standard data plan would force you to work around these situations; the Voice plan removes the friction entirely. If your trip is purely digital—video calls, messaging apps, cloud work—and nobody needs to phone you, a data-only option keeps things simpler. Every Voice plan runs for 30 days and cannot be refilled or topped up. When your data, minutes or SMS allowance runs out, or when validity expires, the line closes permanently. The number assigned is French (+33), not Lithuanian, so callers reach you by dialling that international number. Plan your data tier for the full trip rather than expecting to extend later.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Find helpful information to answer your questions

Will the eSIM affect my phone's battery life?
Running two SIM lines (physical + eSIM) uses slightly more battery than one, since the phone monitors both networks. The difference is usually 5-10% over a full day. To minimize impact, disable the line you're not actively using or turn off cellular data on the inactive line.
What should I do if I lose my activation QR code?
You can't really lose it - your QR code is in your order confirmation email, and also in the install pop-up on the website. To reopen it any time before activation, tap "Install eSIM" in your order email, or sign in at esimno.com and go to Profile > My eSIMs > Install. Both show the QR code together with the one-tap install link and the manual SM-DP+ / activation code. Note the install codes are one-time-use: once the eSIM is installed on a device they can't be reused - reopen the installer (My eSIMs > Install) to display a fresh QR if you need one.
Is unlimited data really unlimited?
Unlimited plans provide unlimited data at high speed (4G/5G) up to a fair-use threshold defined per plan. Beyond that threshold, speeds may be reduced to 128 Kbps for the remainder of the validity period - still usable for messaging and basic browsing, but slower for streaming and video calls.
Will my eSIM work in airports immediately after landing?
Yes - eSIMs typically connect within seconds of switching off airplane mode at the gate. Major airports have strong cellular coverage from local partner networks, so you'll have data before reaching baggage claim. No setup needed at arrival.
Will I get notifications when my data is running low?
Yes. eSIMno sends email and push notifications when you've used 50%, 80%, and 100% of your data allowance. You can also check usage anytime in the eSIMno Center or in your phone's cellular settings to track consumption in real time.
Can I install my eSIM before traveling?
Yes - setting it up before your trip is the easiest approach. Your confirmation email contains the QR code, a one-tap install link and the manual SM-DP+ / activation codes (the same options are also available via sign in > Profile > My eSIMs > Install). While on Wi-Fi at home, install it with the one-tap link on your phone, or - to use the QR - show it on another screen or a printout and scan it with the phone you are setting up (not another phone). Installing does not start your plan: the validity countdown only begins when the eSIM connects to a mobile network inside your plan's coverage area. Keep the eSIM line and its Data Roaming off until you are ready to start - if your plan covers the country you are in right now, turning the line on connects and starts the countdown immediately, even if you do not browse anything. Please note: once installed, an eSIM is considered used and is no longer eligible for a refund.
When should I set up my eSIM?
A Wi-Fi connection is required to install your eSIM, so we recommend setting it up before you leave home. Activation can happen later, either right before departure or after you land at your destination - but the initial QR scan needs Wi-Fi.
Can I make phone calls or send SMS?
eSIMno is a data-only service, so you can't make traditional voice calls or send SMS through the eSIM line. However, you can use messaging and calling apps over data - WhatsApp, iMessage, FaceTime, Telegram, Signal, and Google Meet all work normally.
Can I install multiple eSIMs on the same phone?
Yes. Modern iPhones and Android devices support multiple eSIM profiles - typically 5 to 8 stored profiles, with 1 or 2 active simultaneously. You can install eSIMs for different countries and switch between them in settings without removing any.
Can I get a refund after purchase?
Refunds are not available once an eSIM has been installed or activated - install codes are one-time-use, so an installed eSIM is considered used even if no data has been consumed. If you have not installed your eSIM yet and want a refund, contact support within the refund window stated at checkout. We recommend reviewing plan details carefully before purchase to avoid any issues.
How can I check my data usage?
Log in to the eSIMno Center on our website or mobile app to see your remaining data balance and usage history. You can also check usage in your phone's cellular data settings - most devices show data consumed per line.
Does the eSIM work on cruise ships or airplanes?
eSIMs use ground-based cellular networks, so they don't work in flight or at sea outside coastal coverage. They activate as soon as you connect to a partner network on land. For in-flight or maritime data, you'll need the airline or ship's onboard Wi-Fi.
