How the Unlimited Plan Works
Each day of your plan includes 1 GB of high-speed data on the FL1 network. Use it for navigation, uploads, video calls, or tethering your laptop — whatever you need. When that 1 GB is gone, your speed drops to 128 Kbps for the remainder of the day. You are not disconnected. At 128 Kbps, you can still load maps, send and receive messages, check email, and browse text-heavy websites. Video streaming, voice-over-IP calls, and large file transfers will not work well at this speed.
The daily allowance resets at 00:00 UTC; that is a fixed moment in UTC, not midnight where you are, so check your phone's UTC offset if you plan around it. Every unlimited bundle — whether 1 day or 7 days — includes the same 1 GB daily high-speed allowance.
This is a data-only eSIM. There is no phone number, no ability to make or receive calls, and no SMS. If you need voice capability alongside your data, the Liechtenstein Voice plan provides calls and SMS with a working number.

Is This Plan Right for You?
The Liechtenstein Unlimited plan fits travellers who value always-on connectivity over raw speed. If your day involves constant movement — buses, trains, border crossings — knowing your map will never freeze mid-route matters more than streaming video at lunch. If you work remotely and need guaranteed access to email and messaging throughout long days, the slowdown acts as a safety net rather than a dead end. If you are passing through Liechtenstein as part of a larger Alpine itinerary and want simple, predictable coverage, this plan delivers.
The standard Liechtenstein data plans fit better when you need sustained high-speed access for video conferencing, cloud backups, or media uploads. They also make more sense for trips longer than 7 days, since the Unlimited line cannot be extended or refilled. If you will be stationary with reliable Wi-Fi most of the time and only need mobile data for occasional use, a smaller fixed-data plan may cost less and serve you just as well.
Traveller Tips
- Download offline maps before your trip — they load faster and save your high-speed quota for other tasks.
- Queue large uploads and cloud syncs for when you have fresh daily data or access to Wi-Fi.
- 128 Kbps handles text-based messaging apps well; switch voice notes and images to Wi-Fi when slowed.
- Check your current data usage in your phone settings to gauge how much high-speed allowance remains.
- Set your phone's clock display to show UTC alongside local time if you want to track the daily reset.
- Since top-up is not available, purchase a plan with enough days to cover your entire Liechtenstein portion of the trip.
